Yimɓe tan ngoodi koyɗe ɗe Maaguru hokkiɓe.
Nyalaande feere Maaguru wiʼi hokkay dabbaaji fuu koyɗe. O yiɗi ɗi njaha.

Nden o anndiniɗi.
Dabbaaji mbiʼi, "Boɗɗum, min keɓa koyɗe."

Ɗi ngaɗi ka yimugo e wamugo.
Dabbaaji mbiʼi, "Dasoraago reedu ɗum bone."

E ɗi nana nawɗum.
Nyalaande nden dabbaaji fuu njahi wuro
Maaguru.

Dabbaaji ngaɗi corol: tireeji, nyiibi, boji, ngilanngeeji, colli, baaɗi bee mawndu fuu.
Kala dabba fuu heɓii koyɗe nayi.

Colli boo, koyɗe ɗiɗi.
Koo ɗume sanjii nde ɗi keɓi koyɗe.

Goɗɗi ngami bee seyo, goɗɗi boo njani.
Ɗi njahi ɗi kolli yimɓe.

Dabbaaji mbiʼi, "Min meetataa dasaago e leydi."
Kaatoota sakitii warugo. Maaguru ƴaminga, "Walaa ko lutti gaɗa na?"

Kaatoota jaabii, "Eh, min tan sakitii."
Maaguru numi, "Hannga tan lutti. Ko mi waɗata bee koyɗe luttuɗe?"

Nden Maaguru hokki kaatoota koyɗe luttuɗe fuu.
Kaatoota nanii belɗum wiʼi, "Mi ɓuray dabbaaji luttuɗi fuu yaawugo."
Ɓaawo kaatoota dilli, mboodi maa yottii wuro Maaguru. Ndi wiʼi Maaguru, "Hokkam koyɗe."
Maaguru wiʼi, "Mi hokkitirii koyɗe fuu. Toye ngonnoɗa?"

Mboodi wi'i, "Mi weetori."
Maaguru raari, koo e woodi ko lutti.

Ammaa walaa ko mo yi'i.
Maaguru wiʼi mboodi, "Koyɗe luttaayi." Mboodi dasii hooti, heɓaayi koyɗe.

Diga nyalaande nden, mboodi acci ɗaanaago. E ndi reena nyalaande Maaguru fuɗɗitata hokkugo koyɗe.
