Bibi alinipenda.

Alinitambulia siri zake nyingi, ila moja.
"Kikapu na majani ni ya nini?"

Bibi alijibu, "Za miujiza."
Nilipenda kutazama.

Lakini, bibi alinituma kufanya kazi tofauti.
"Umeviweka wapi?"

Bibi alinijibu, "Nimeviweka pahali pa miujiza."
Bibi alinituma chumbani kwake.

Nilinusa harafu ya ndizi mbivu.
Nilikuwa nimejua pahali pa bibi pa miujiza.

Nilikuwa nimeona ndizi mbivu.
Nilikula ndizi moja.

Ilikuwa tamu kuliko ndizi yoyote niliyowahi kuonja.
Nilichukua ndizi nne.

Nilizificha ndani ya rinda langu.
Siku ya soko, bibi alipeleka bidhaa kuuza.

Niliaibika.
Waliponiita jioni, nilijua sababu.

Sijathubutu kuiba tena.
