She offered to carry Monkey on her back.

As Crocodile was swimming, she told Monkey about her sick child.

“Only monkey liver will cure him,” sighed Crocodile sadly.

“You should have told me before we left!” cried Monkey.

“I keep my liver in the tree, let us go and get it,” she said.

Crocodile swam back to the riverbank.

Monkey jumped off her back and ran up into the tree.

Crocodile waited.
