The disciples saw Jesus walking on the water and were afraid.

"Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid," Jesus said.

"Come," Jesus said. Peter stepped out of the boat.

But Peter was afraid and started to sink.

Peter cried out, "Lord, save me!"

Jesus caught him and said, "Why did you doubt?"

When they entered the boat, the disciples said, "Truly you are the Son of God."
