Big-head Ant was a very good farmer.
He lived in the ground where he built his house and barn.
Pigeon was Ant's neighbour.
Pigeon lived in a tree.
He and his wife had two children.
Pigeon was lazy.
Pigeon and his family watched Ant work all day.
Pigeon and his family rested all day.
Pigeon and his family were beggars.
They were also good singers.
They sang while begging.
"Please give us food! Please give us food! Give us food!" begged the birds.
"We will not give you food," Big-head Ant replied.
"You are lazy, go and farm!" said Ant.
Pigeon and his family began to sing.
"Ant is king! Ant is king! Ant is king!" they sang.
Big-head Ant liked their song and gave them food.
After they ate, the birds flew up into their tree.
When they met later, Pigeon abused Ant.
Pigeon sang, "Do kings have big heads? Do kings have big heads? Do kings have big heads?"
The next day Pigeon and his family were hungry again.
They came down and sang, "Ant is king! Ant is king! Ant is king!"
Big-head Ant refused to give them any more food.
"You are ungrateful!" Ant said.
"We are sorry! We are sorry! We are sorry!" Pigeon begged.
Big-head Ant forgave them. He gave them food.
To this day, pigeons sing "Ant is king! Ant is king!" because of Big-heart Ant's generosity.
